So we should decide on a location for this weekend. We can probably do it
here again, but I'm fine with doing it in San Jose this weekend, since you
guys drove over the hill last time. Whatever works well for you guys.

There's a few things I should "wrap up" before the next game so here goes.

For *Healing Potions* it's probably easiest to just have you guys purchase
them when we start next game since you will have your character sheets with
your stashes written on them.

I'll just have *Nooka* make a roll for cooking up the salt peter first thing
as well.

During the next 2 days you guys work on pissing in a bucket and cooking it
in the chimney room (to make salt peter). You are all fairly convinced that
no one is likely to come and investigate what is going on in the crypt. You
also spend the next 2 days fortifying the crypt and making Walfsdog's door
contraption.

Mento you may feel free to speak to the contact that you met in the mage
tower during these next couple of days.

Fenreer also discovers a couple of recipe's from doing research at the
mage's guild:

Slippers of Spider Climbing
When worn, a pair of these slippers enable movement on vertical surfaces or
even upside down along ceilings, leaving the wearer's hands free. Her speed
is reduced by half while using this ability. Slippery surfaces (icy, oily,
or greased) make these slippers useless.
Caster Level: 4th; Prerequisites: Craft Wondrous Item, spider climb; Costs
1000 gold worth of materials to create and must also spend 40xp.

Goggles of Minute Seeing
The lenses of this item are made of a special crystal. When placed over the
eyes of the wearer, they enable her to see much better than normal at
distances of 1 foot or less, granting +5 bonus to search checks to locate or
identify features such as tiny seems, marks, cracks, or imperfections. Both
lenses must be worn for the magic to be effective.
Caster Level: 3rd; Prereq: Craft Wondrous Item, true seeing; Cost to make:
500g, 20xp

Gloves of Dexterity
+2 dexterity
caster level: 8th; Prereq: Craft Wondrous Item; cat's grace; Costs to make:
2000g, 80xp

2 more days have passed now (total of 7 since end of last game), so the next
session will start the morning of the 11th day of Halimath. The day that
the brown robed friar named Samrik asked you guys to meet him outside of
town so he could take you to the necromancers meeting. Being the middle of
the month, the 2nd moon Rydia (which the lunar calendar is based on) cannot
even be seen in the sky. You guys figure that you probably have plenty of
time to prepare for fighting Lycanthropes.

Speaking of Lycanthropes I almost forgot. Mento you find another book about
Lycanthropy. The book describes it as a "supernatural disease" that is
contracted from being bitten by Lycanthropes. The book however also implies
that it cannot be always be cured like most normal diseases and that if not
treated quickly (within a few days) by a powerful cleric (high level), most
people are irreversibly afflicted. The cycle of the moons seem to have some
effect on how fast the Lycanthropy will take hold. The writer also mentions
that a sprig of wolfsbane (a poisonous nightshade) can be used to help fight
off the affliction, but has also been known on occasion to kill cause
paralysis or death in the patient.
