Sounds all good to me. I forgot to tell everyone that i'm going to arizona, i leave tomorrow, don't got any spells or nothin so feel free to make me shoot or stab stuff, my owl needs training but i'm not too concerned.
I'm all for the doing all the boring stuff over email and adventuring when we're all at a table. My only qualms is the mass amount of email, which i can deal with. might a forum be easier? just an idea.

Hey guys,

I was talking to everyone and we thought things went well last

game. To keep the action level up we were thinking it would be a good

idea to get non-combat moves out of the way over e-mail. That is, we

can take care of a bunch of stuff with our characters over e-mail that

may otherwise consume hours of face-to-face gameplay. To keep

gameplay related information in the same thread, we can use the

subject above. The subject 'Round 7' simply means that this is the

pre-game moves for the next round. When we are done with Round 7 we

can start a new thread for Round 8, which would be two games from now.

To keep things organized we will start out with a discussion of

what our next moves should be. Once we have settled on a set of

actions the group will perform them together. What's more, we will do

them in order so that Dan can keep track of how much time is passing

while we perform these actions. Finally, we may set off in-game

events. If that event triggers combat we will stop and resolve the

combat in the next game session; however, if that event is simply a

roll for a non-combat event, then we can resolve it using the online

roll system I threw together for us:

The dice roller Jim sent to the list a few weeks ago has a bad address

hard coded in the form post, so I wrote a quick one for us. Anyway,

we almost always roll one d20 + a modifier for the simple stuff, so I

wrote a roller that will let a person put in their character name, a

modifier, and then send the roll to our list. I will send a test

after this message goes out.

Let me know if you guys think we should make any modifications to

this process. As for now, let me propose a set of actions we will

want to resolve before next game. Right before we left a few people

had decided we should go after the rats and see if that is related to

the plague. The majority of us have magical weapons now, and

Druscillia knows how to cast Cure Disease (does anyone else?). Since

there are eight moons I think we will want to know a thing or two

about their cycle. Here is what I think we should put on the list of

things to do, and please feel free to shuffle these into a more

intelligent order.

1. Since the rats come in swarms, we are going to need some way to

kill mass amounts of them. Giffal suggested that we have Nooka figure

out what is needed to make Greek Fire potions and we use the alchemy

lab to make some. Scott (or anyone), can you figure out what we need

to do to make potions? We have the alchemy lab at our base. I think

we should do this first since we may need to spend gold.

1. Buy healing potions from the healing temple (Erick can make his

50g donation while we are there).

2. Research the moon cycles so we know how strong our enemy will be.

3. Have the Druid scribe two more Cure Disease scrolls out of the

rest of her scroll kits. This should leave us with 1 Cure Poison and

3 Cure Disease scrolls, and Druscillia can memorize 4 Cure Disease per

day (to do this we must wait one more day).

4. Find someone to talk to so we can figure out where to go next.

Perhaps we want to talk to the new brass in town?

5. Go after the rats and the plague.

Feel free to add to this list. Try to get any changes in by

Wednesday, that way we can start executing our plan.

Cheers,

Chris
