Final list of things to do:
===
1. Since the rats come in swarms, we are going to need some way to
kill mass amounts of them. Giffal suggested that we have Nooka figure
out what is needed to make Greek Fire potions and we use the alchemy
lab to make some. Scott (or anyone), can you figure out what we need
to do to make potions? We have the alchemy lab at our base. I think
we should do this first since we may need to spend gold.
2. Buy healing potions from the healing temple (Erick can make his
50g donation while we are there).
3. Fenreer would like to focus on his item creation skills. That means
researching recipes for item creation as well as searching for
locations of
potential ingredients/regents necessary for creating various items.
When
we get to this part we will need to find someone who knows where we can
learn this stuff.
3. Research the moon cycles so we know how strong our enemy will be.
4. Have the Druid scribe two more Cure Disease scrolls out of the
rest of her scroll kits. This should leave us with 1 Cure Poison and
5 Cure Disease scrolls, and Druscillia can memorize 4 Cure Disease per
day (to do this we must wait one more day). I will need to work out how
much XP this is going to cost and let you know Dan.
5. Go talk to LeRoy and see if we can get information about the new
guards. Also, we need to make sure he is still in power. I think we
should
get orders (perhaps to gain access to the library) from the new guard
leader that give us the ability to forge his orders. The problem here
is that
we are no longer in the army, but I have a trick if this becomes a
problem.
6. Find someone to talk to so we can figure out where to go next.
Perhaps
we want to talk to the new brass in town?
7. Go after the rats and the plague.
===
So we have seven mini-quests that should keep us busy over e-mail for a
while. Dan, start keeping track of time in-game as of now. We are
going
to do item #1, which means we need to read the instructions we have for
making greek fire. Dan, can you tell us what ingredients are listed
on the
recipe? Once you do I will try to make an image of the recipe that we
can
put online, we can hunt out the ingredients in-game, and then we can go
to our base with Nooka to make the potions. Mento, suggested we take
precautions when we make the potions, so I think we will want a cleric
in
the room with Nooka, but at a distance to minimize damage from an
accident. If something goes wrong the cleric can heal Nooka. Erick,
does
this sound good to you? Also, Druscillia can wait just outside the
door in
owl form, which she got at level 5, to heal both if they get in more
trouble.
Jess, does this sound good to you? Lastly, we will want to _only_ have
enough of the ingredients in the room with Nooka to make a potion at a
time. This separation of the materials will help in case of an
accident. We
don't want to turn Nooka into another Kaustos.
Cheers,
Walfsdog
P.S. If you guys want to add anything please do. I am only taking
charge
here because someone has to.
